STR (Shaved, Toasted, Re-charred) is a methodology from the late Dr. Jim Swan that gives red wine hogsheads a new lease on life. 43 hogheads filled 2012, bottled 2019. 14,500 bottles
Cask strength. Triple matured, first in ex-Bourbon barrels, second in quarter casks, third in European Oloroso sherry casks.

114 ppm peat phenols. Distilled in 2013. Islay barley. "FULL TERM MATURATION IN 1ST FILL AMERICAN WHISKEY CASKS FROM JIM BEAM, HEAVEN HILL, BUFFALO TRACE AND JACK DANIELS". About the only difference from the 10.1 is the use of 100% Islay barley (and the age & ABV)
Matured in Bourbon casks, finished in rum casks.
Double matured in first fill ex-Bourbon casks then finished in Fino Sherry casks.
First 'permanent' release of PC 10. 40 ppm peat phenols. Distilled 2017, bottled 2018. This differs from the PC 10 Second Limited Edition (besides the dates) because of different casks used, only American whiskey and French wine casks per data sheet. No sherry or tempranillo casks.
Matured in wine casks that had been charred to produce grooves in the wood.
